Bundle&Go: Buy Miles&More Miles with 30% Bonus (from 1.35 cpm)

Lufthansa Boeing 747

There are numerous ways to indirectly purchase Miles&More miles, for example, through newspaper subscriptions. However, since last year, not even the detour of a subscription is necessary. With Bundle&Go, it is now possible to purchase miles directly. Miles & More merely combines this with a few valueless “benefits” to make it not too obvious.

When purchasing one of these bundles in March, there is a 30% bonus. Those who buy 130,000 miles at once will pay €1,750. This results in an acceptable price of 1.35 cents per mile. However, the deal in November was significantly better.

Miles & More mentions a minimum of a 30% bonus on their website. This means that there might be an even better price per mile for individual accounts. If so, please leave a comment.

Until March 31, 2024, the following packages are available:

  • Large: 130,000 miles for €1,750 (1.346 cpm)
  • Medium: 65,000 miles for €1,000 (1.538 cpm)
  • Small: 13,000 miles for €250 (1.923 cpm)

Conditions

If you want to increase your mileage account in this way, the following conditions must be observed:

  • The 30% bonus is valid for purchases until March 31, 2024
  • In each calendar year, a maximum of 250,000 miles (plus bonus, i.e., 325,000) can be collected through this method
  • The miles will be credited within 5 working days (usually within a few minutes)
  • The purchased miles are subject to the regular mileage validity, meaning they expire after 36 months at the end of the quarter (except for Miles & More credit card holders)

You can read the terms and conditions here, and additional information about the offer is available in the terms and conditions.

Sweet Spots for Miles & More Miles

Not sure what to do with your miles? Take a look at the following redemption options:

If you purchase 130,000 miles at a rate of €1.35 per mile, you would effectively pay around €1,400 for a business class mileage deal to North America (round trip).

Currently, such mileage bargains are available for trips to Montreal, Toronto, and Chicago for travel in June and July 2024. However, it’s advisable to check for availability beforehand. Learn more about the mileage deals here:

Past Promotions

Bundle&Go has only been around since last year, so the promotions of this kind are relatively young. Here is a brief overview.

Promotional PeriodOfferBest Price per Mile
March 202430% Bonus1.346 Cents
November 8 to 30, 202340% Bonus1.250 Cents (for all) 1.161 Cents (personalized)
November 1 to 7, 202350% Bonus1.167 Cents (for all) 1.083 Cents (personalized)
September 202360% Bonus1.094 Cents
May 202330% Bonus1.346 Cents

Conclusion

Roughly 1.4 cents is an acceptable price for purchasing miles, especially considering that you don’t need to commit to any subscriptions or the like. If you urgently need the miles, this could be a good time to make the purchase. However, others might want to wait for the next deal, as there will likely be better prices again at some point.

In any case, these offers should only be taken up by those who already have a purpose in mind for the miles. Miles expire after three years, and an increase in point prices or surcharges is likely only a matter of time.
