Lufthansa’s leisure subsidiary, Discover Airlines, will deploy wide-body aircraft to some sunny destinations in Europe in May. This appears to be in response to the high demand during the Pentecost holidays. Passengers in business class will particularly benefit from this, as they will have spacious seats with lie-flat functionality instead of standard economy seats with an open middle seat.
Especially interesting is a route to the Canary Islands: In May, there are a total of four round trips between Frankfurt and Tenerife using the Airbus A330. In the business class, you can buy this deal for as low as €432 round-trip, and this is also available over Pentecost. A decent price for over 9 hours in a lie-flat seat. Additionally, it is possible to book flights from Tenerife to Frankfurt.
There is no guarantee that the route will actually be operated with the Airbus A330. In the worst case, you might end up on an Airbus A320 with the typical economy seats. As a result, this would likely not entitle you to a refund or rebooking.

Currently, an Airbus A330 is scheduled for May 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th. This means that those flying out on the 28th will have a standard A320 on the return journey. The outbound flight is scheduled for 4 hours and 45 minutes, while the return trip is slightly faster.

Due to the flight schedule, the minimum stay is 7 days, as the A330 operates only once a week. Otherwise, you will have to settle for the typical Euro-Business class in the Airbus 320.
