Vintage Grand 5-Star Hotel in Dubai for €97 in Autumn; €70 in Summer (Refundable)

The Vintage Grand Hotel is a modern 5-star hotel in Dubai. While its location is not exactly attractive, its price definitely is, costing roughly €50 less than the next-cheapest 5-star hotel. Not only does this hotel cost around €60 in the (too hot) summer, but it even charges very attractive prices during autumn, when temperatures are finally lower. A refundable rate on booking.com currently only costs €97 between October and December.

You can get this price pretty much on any date in 2024. In fact, if you travel to Dubai during the scorching summer (which we wouldn’t necessarily recommend), you’d only pay €70.

While the rate is refundable, it does not include breakfast. Breakfast costs €18 per person. The room is a Deluxe King Room, offering 33 m2 of space with a city view, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a minibar, and free wifi. It’s also possible to book a Twin Room for the same price.

The Hotel

The Vintage Grand Hotel is a 5-star hotel offering its guests comfy beds, 2 swimming pools, a gym, four restaurants, and much more. The hotel also offers free parking, which definitely comes in handy considering the hotel’s remote location. Previously, this hotel was called the Ghaya Grand Hotel.

Previous guests have left good reviews of the hotel (e.g. 4.3/5 on Google or 5/5 on Tripadvisor), many praising the very nice overall atmosphere. Merely the bathrooms have received some criticism.

The hotel is located, basically, in the middle of nowhere. We’d definitely recommend renting a car as there aren’t many public transportation options nearby and Ubers aren’t exactly cheap in Dubai, the trip from the airport already costing you around €35 in each direction. To give you an idea of the car rental prices, a mid-sized car at Europcar would cost you roughly €160 for a week in November. A small car would cost around €20 less.

Price Check

As mentioned before, this hotel is far cheaper than other 5-star hotels in the area. To give you an example, the Mövenpick Jumeirah Village Triangle, located almost just as inconveniently, charges around €40 more on the same dates in November. And if you want to stay in better-located 5-star hotels in Dubai, you can roughly expect to pay €250 in autumn, so paying €97 is definitely a good deal.
