You would be staying in an Inland Retreat room, which is roughly 24 square meters large, has a king bed, and – as the name suggests – an inland view. An alternative would be to pay €20 more for a Tropical Retreat room, which would then have a mountain view and a balcony.
A highlight of April in Corfu is Easter (Greek Orthodox Easter is on April 16 in 2023), where you’ll see people throwing pots from balconies and brass band parades throughout Greece. The weather is also quite good, with mostly sunny weather and temperatures between 9 and 19 °C. If you want to plan a trip during Roman Catholic Easter, that’s on April 9.
The Hotel
The Domes of Corfu is a 5-star Autograph Collection hotel of the Marriott brand. It is located in one of the best areas of Corfu, less than 10 minutes away from Glyfada Beach on foot. Among other amenities, the hotel offers a fitness centre.
Previous guests have left good reviews of the hotel, many of them praising that the hotel has a gorgeous, beautiful private beach and that the hotel is modern.
The hotel is set on Glyfada Beach and the Ionian Sea coast, so you’re not too far from many famous sights, such as the Paralia Mirtiotissa, which is only about a 10-minute drive away. There aren’t many restaurants close to the hotel, but you’ll need a car anyway, as the public transport there is basically non-existent. Corfu Airport Ioannis Kapodistrias is less than half an hour away.

Price Check
Like most hotels in the region, the hotel is closed from November until March. While the first month after reopening is cheap, staying at the hotel a bit later, in May, would cost at least €151.
It’s particularly nice that the hotel doesn’t charge a higher price during Easter (neither on Greek Orthodox Easter nor Roman Catholic Easter). The fact that the hotel is even open at that time is great, as most hotels reopen in May.

Hi, I believe that in your paragraph about Easter and the local custom on Corfu to drop clay pots you have one fact wrong: Greek Orthodox Easter will be on 16 April 2023, so this local custom should take place then, and not on 9 April 2023 (which is Roman Catholic Easter).
