Star Alliance member Lufthansa offers premium economy flights from London to Riyadh and Dammam in Saudi Arabia starting at £532 (~€620). The fare includes two checked bags (23 kg) and departures are available from April to December.
EU & UK citizens need either an eVisa costing SAR 535 (~€133) or a visa on arrival costing SAR 480 (~€119) to enter Saudi Arabia.
Tickets are changeable for a fee £180 plus any fare difference. However, the destination or departure airport cannot be changed. Cancellation is not allowed for the most favorable fare of the Premium Economy Class, but a refund of airport taxes and fees is possible in this case.

The flights between Heathrow and Frankfurt are in economy class on Airbus A320 family aircraft with a 3-3 configuration. It is also possible to fly from Gatwick (also on A320 family aircraft) and from London City Airport on an Embraer E190 with a 2-2 configuration.
The long flight will be on a Lufthansa Airbus A330 which has a 2-3-2 premium economy cabin.
Lufthansa’s Premium Economy
In comparison to other airlines, Lufthansa’s Premium Economy is solid, but not outstanding. The reclining seats and legroom are above average. Still, cabin service and entertainment are almost the same as in LH’s economy class product.
In contrast to its regular economy seats, Lufthansa offers broader and more comfortable seats in Premium Economy, switching from a 3-4-3 / 3-3-3 seat alignment to 2-4-2 (Boeing 747 and Airbus A380) or 2-3-2 on its other wide-body aircraft. Furthermore, you can check two bags up to 23 kg at no additional cost. While the food is identical, it’ll be served on chinaware instead of plastic.

The fare rules don’t mention any expiration date. There is a minimum stay of a Saturday night or 6 days and a maximum stay of 12 months. Dammam offers good availability from April to December. Riyadh also offers good availability, but from April to October.
