Norwegian Cruise Line‘s Bliss will sail from Los Angeles to Vancouver in April 2023. Getting onboard is cheap, although the real highlight is the suite at just £448 (~US$563). You can upgrade to an All Inclusive package at roughly £100 (~US$126) extra. But even without that, you get full-board dining onboard.

The Route
The cruise starts on April 9 in Los Angeles in the US and will arrive in Vancouver, Canada on April 13, 2023, but will stay overnight in the port allowing guests to stay onboard.

The Ship
A two-level go-kart track? A laser tag arena? A pretty good aquapark? This isn’t your nearby fun park, this is Norwegian Bliss! But if you want to relax, don’t worry, there are plenty of opportunities. Pools, lounges, jacuzzis, a spa with sauna, gym and massages (fees apply). You can also relax in one of the many lounges and bars or drink a coffee in the onboard Starbucks.
The Norwegian Bliss belongs to the Breakaway plus class. It joined the fleet in 2018 to cruise along the West Coast (except for short periods of sailings from New York and Miami). It can hold over 4,000 guests after whom ~1,700 staff members look after. Here is a preview of the suite and the atrium:

Flights
We highly recommend allowing a buffer day before your cruise, even if you arrive from the USA. If you miss your embarkation time, you’ll miss the entire cruise.
For our American readers, we suggest looking at Southwest departures to Los Angeles, as those include two free checked bags. Although, if you travel light, the big 3 and Alaska often have nice prices from different US cities. Canadian low-cost airline, Flair operates cheap transborder flights for the return leg.
For our European readers, multi-city isn’t cheap for this period. You could look at return trips or combine your trip with Seattle at the end to make the flight price cheaper. You may also keep an eye on deals to Los Angeles, Vancouver and Seattle, e.g. you could fly from Oslo to Los Angeles and back for €344.
