Oneway: €811 Oneworld Business Class Kenya → USA (Stopovers in Europe Possible)

British Airways Club Suite Seat 3

Oneworld carriers American Airlines, British Airways and Qatar Airways bring you the unique opportunity to combine two long-haul segments in business class for less than US$1,000 (~€935)! These carriers currently sell oneway tickets from Nairobi, Kenya to a plethora of cities in the United States. Your ticket usually consists of three legs:

  • Business Class from Nairobi to London/Doha
  • Business Class from London/Doha to the United States
  • Domestic First within the United States

You can extend your break between the first and second flight for several months, making it a more attractive offer for European citizens, as they can combine two trips with this ticket. You can also book a roundtrip at twice the price.

Info

While most European citizens may enter Kenya visa-free, you need to apply for online registration and pay a US$32 (~€30) fee.

Here are some examples we found for cheap flights without a stopover:

These tickets are available on American Airlines’ website. You can find them for departures between today and June 2024, as well as from September through December 2024:

Add a Stopover in Europe for €100

Adding a stopover of several days, weeks or months adds between €50 and €100 to the price – but makes it so more flexible. Even better, you will get at least one more leg in European business class as part of the deal. Here are some examples for these flights:

Starting in Nairobi, you have two choices: Either take British Airways’ Airbus A350-900 (with Club Suites) to London, or fly Qatar Airways to Doha (with a reasonable chance to be seated in a Qsuite). Flights from Doha to Philadelphia are operated by American Airlines, transatlantic flights are either British Airways or American Airlines services. These flights mostly take you to either Charlotte, New York, Miami or Philadelphia, before continuing in domestic first.

Even if American Airlines doesn’t enjoy a good reputation for many, its business class is very good. Every seat has direct access to the aisle and the service, as well as the food and the seat, are at a very high standard. Travel-Dealz founder Johannes tested the Boeing 777 and really enjoyed the flight.

British Airways was the first airline to offer lie-flat seats – over 20 years ago. Sadly, many seats are still from that time and no longer reach today’s standards in other aspects. Especially in the Boeing 747, the seats were extremely narrow. Furthermore, it is unusual that every other seat is facing backward. If you, however, fly in a plane that has the new Club World seats installed, you’ll be flying in a much better product, sometimes even with Suite seats that offer a lot of privacy. A general downside at British Airways: there is no free seat reservation, which is unusual for a business class.

Search & Book

We don’t know how long this offer remains available, but our best guess it will be gone soon. Since this is a oneway fare, no minimum stay applies.

Sadly, there is no elegant way to search for these tickets. While Google Flights multistop search in a bit clunky and time consuming, it gets worse by the fact that the tool does not display all available connections. Because of that, we recommend just taking the time to trial and error yourself through American Airlines’ website.

It was definitely not fake (as you can see in the screenshots provided in the deal). However, by now it is sadly expired
