Qatar Airways Business Class: Tanzania, Kenya & other Destinations Starting at €763 from Cairo

Qatar Airways QSuite

You have to be a little crazy to fly to Cairo because there are cheap business class flights from there – but why not? Qatar Airways is currently offering good prices for flights to several destinations, e.g. to Dar es Salaam in Tanzania for €763.

Sometimes you can also fly in the Qsuite. Also, this is not a light fare, so lounge access is included. There’s availability until November 2022, depending on the destination.

To enter Egypt, you currently either need a negative antigen or PCR test, or you have to be fully vaccinated. The visa for entry into Egypt costs €22 for a single entry. It is also available as a Visa-on-Arrival.

Furthermore, when entering from South Africa, Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, or Swaziland, in addition to carrying a test certificate, a COVID-19 test must be carried out immediately after entry. If the test is positive for foreigners, entry will be refused.

If – for whatever reason – you cannot start your trip as planned, the flights can be canceled free of charge at any time thanks to Qatar Airways’ Corona goodwill rules. These currently apply to all bookings with a travel period up until September 30, 2022. Rebooking is possible without a rebooking fee, but the price difference will be charged.

You can easily search for the connection you want using our search form. Simply select the route and your desired flight details, and then let us forward you to the booking directly on Qatar Airways’ website. There’s availability is until November 2022. We have marked available dates for trips of up to 28 days in green. The availability is – as you can see – excellent.

The prices:

Note that according to the current prices, you’ll have to spend around €250 for a round trip to Cairo.

Boeing 777 and 787 aircraft are always used on Qatar Airways flights. The Qsuite is sometimes installed there. There are also connections, as to Muscat, where you’ll definitely fly in the Qsuite.

Search & Book

The fare rules do not state how long the offer will remain valid. Travel is possible between January and November. The minimum stay requirement is 2 days, and you can stay for a maximum of 12 months.

You can find available dates very easily with the help of Google Flights (instructions). You should book the flights directly on Qatar Airways’ website.

Why is booking with an airline better than with an online travel agency?

More often than not, online travel agencies offer lower fares than airlines do. We still recommend booking with the airlines directly. There are two main reasons for that:

Better Customer Service
In case any problems like delays, cancellations or missed connections arise, you can communicate directly with the airline. The airline has to take care of you because you have a contract with them.

If a travel agency issues your ticket, you may have to reach out to them first. You also depend on your OTA to forward information like flight changes instead of receiving them directly from the airline. In many cases, you may get a prime exhibition of responsibility shifting rather than problem-solving.

This especially applies to premium tickets. You don’t want to spend more than €1,000 to wind up with some budget OTA’s telephone hotline in case anything goes wrong.

Baggage and Other Fees
Economy fares not including hold luggage are industry standard by now. In most cases, travel agencies charge much higher baggage fees than the airlines themselves. If bags are not included in your fare, airlines are often the cheaper alternative.

This also applies to other things like food services, insurances or priority treatment. In almost all cases, you pay less for additional amenities when booking on the airlines’ website.
