Vancouver: €1,188 SkyTeam Business Class From Spain

Vancouver Skyline Canada

SkyTeam partners Air France and KLM are selling cheap business class flights to Vancouver. While there’s only availability from April onward – meaning that these flights are not refundable under Air France’s corona policies – Canada has already reopened its borders, so the probability is quite high, that these flights will, in fact, take place.

Info

All Air France and KLM tickets issued for flights until June 30, 2022, are fully refundable. You’d receive a voucher which can be refunded to your bank account. You can read more about this here. Flights after June 2022 are not refundable.

Our availability calendar shows all available dates for trips of up to 28 days. The flights can then be purchased on Air France’s website. The cheapest flights usually include two stops, one in Paris and one in Amsterdam. While that is good news if you’re hunting some FlyingBlue XP, it may be bothersome to others. However, connections with just a single stop in Amsterdam both ways are typically just €60 more expensive.

You can depart from the following Spanish cities:

KL VLC YVR C 1188

Usually, the long-haul flights to Vancouver will be operated by KLM, using a Boeing 777. Sometimes, the tickets will be somewhat cheaper if you have a layover in Paris AND in Amsterdam, but flying directly to Amsterdam is often only marginally more expensive.

Search & Book

This fare can be found from April onward and has no expiration date. Thus, it can be withdrawn anytime. This deal is only available for flights departing from Tuesday to Thursday. Furthermore, your stay cannot exceed 12 months. These flights can’t be canceled, but can be rebooked without having to pay a rebooking fee.

Google Flights displays all available dates, as does our calendar above. The flights can then be booked on Air France’s website.

KLM Business Class

KLM has its business class rows in a 2-2-2 formation, meaning that window seats do not have direct access to the aisle. All seats can, however, be turned into a fully flat bed of at least 200 cm. You will enjoy premium class catering and a more generous baggage allowance (12kg hand luggage and 2x23kg bags that you can check in), as well as airport benefits, such as lounge access.

Information & Tips for Vancouver

Vancouver is the largest metropolitan region in western Canada and a comparatively young city that has got a lot to offer! Stanley Park and Coal Harbour attract many visitors every year and Vancouver is also a great starting point if you want to explore the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

Best Time to Visit

Vancouver has one of the mildest climates of any major Canadian city. The winters (December to February) are very rainy, snow is – untypical for Canada – rare. The best weather for tourism is from late July to mid October, when the days are comparatively warm and dry.

From the Airport to the City Center

The SkyTrain will take you to the city centre in about 25 minutes. A ride costs about 6€ (airport -> city) or 2,60€ (city -> airport). With a taxi you need just about half an hour at prices from 17€ to 20€.

Tip: Take a Seaplane Tour!

In many regions of Canada the seaplane is a common means of transport. Vancouver has its own seaplane terminal right at the Olympic Cauldron in the city centre. A short sightseeing flight (duration 20 minutes, of that approx. 10 minutes in flight) over Vancouver can be had for 95 Canadian dollars (approx. 62€). For 129 CAD (approx. 84€) there are longer flights with 20 minutes of air time which go all the way up to the North Shore Mountains. In addition, daily trips are offered e.g. to Victoria on Vancouver Island or one can also take part in the famous Mail Run. The largest seaplane operator at the Vancouver Harbour Flight Centre (IATA code: CXH) is Harbour Air. In addition, Seair Seaplanes also offers cheap sightseeing- and scheduled flights. Kenmore Air even flies between Vancouver and Seattle.

    Hallo,
