Star Alliance is one of the three global airline alliances and was the first one to be formed. Not only is it the oldest alliance but with 25 members (as of July 2025) also the largest one.
Members can benefit from various advantages when flying with one of the alliance’s members.
There are two tier levels: Star Alliance Silver and Star Alliance Gold.
