Star Alliance member Air China brings us today a deal from Milan and Rome to Auckland starting at just €611. This flight includes 2x23Kg checked luggage. Departures are available from March to June.

First, you will fly to Beijing with Air China from Milan on an Air China Airbus 350 and from Rome on an Air China Boeing 787, both with a 3-3-3 configuration, and then continue with an Air China Boeing 787 to New Zealand.
If you are flying from Milan, you may have 20 hour layovers in Beijing, but the good news is that they occur during daytime, allowing you to make use of this opportunity to visit the Chinese capital, the Great Wall, or Universal Studios Beijing. In the case of Rome, layovers are shorter on some of the dates.

Please note that the ITA Matrix’ price calendar is not 100% accurate, but gives you a decent enough idea on which dates the best fares are available. Skyscanner’s calendar preview also yields reasonably accurate results.

Auckland is the largest city in New Zealand with a population of approximately 1.5 million and a wide range of tourist attractions and activities for visitors. The Best Time to Visit
The best time to visit Auckland is between March and May and September and November. These are the times when you’ll find comparatively few tourists and can enjoy sunny days and moderate temperatures.
From the airport to the city
A bus to the city centre runs every 10 minutes, and the journey will take you about 40 minutes and a ticket for a one-way trip costs approx. €7.50. A taxi can cost up to €60, while Uber or Zoomy (similar to Uber) will cost between €24 and €43.
