Star Alliance member Avianca has been offering non-stop flights from Miami to Colombian cities starting at US$188 (~€175) for a while. However, as they don’t include a carry-on bag, LATAM and American were always better choices. This time however both airlines offer significantly more expensive flights, allowing Avianca to make up for its poor bag allowance.
If you want to carry more than a backpack, you can either select the S fare for US$100 (~€93) more (which includes a carry-on) or add a checked bag for US$90 (~€84).
Flights to Medellin are cheaper if you stop in Barranquilla on the way back, dropping the price to US$199 (~€186).

According to the fare rules, this fare will expire on July 2, 2023. There is no minimum stay, but a maximum stay of one year applies.
