Travelzoo is once again selling some great vouchers. This time, you can sleep in an executive room with a city view at the 5-star Occidental Praha Wilson hotel for only €90. That price includes breakfast and 3 tapas as well as a glass of wine per person. If you stay more than three nights, you’ll even get an entire bottle of wine.
This deal is only available on the French Travelzoo website. If you don’t speak French, we recommend that you use a browser that can translate the site for you. Once you’ve bought the voucher, you’ll be able to view it on the English Travelzoo site as well. Redeeming the voucher at the hotel is also possible in English.
You can buy these vouchers until September 8, 2021 and then redeem them until the end of March. You could also redeem them from April – December 2022, but that would cost you another €30. You’d also have to pay a surcharge to stay at the hotel on December 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, or 18, 2021. Spending New Year’s Eve at the hotel is not possible.
Other than that, you can redeem these vouchers anytime by simply calling the hotel, or sending them an email. If you don’t end up traveling to Prague, you can simply return the vouchers and get a full refund. If you already redeemed them, then you need to cancel up to 2 days before arrival
If you’re unsure about how many nights you’re going to stay, simply buy a few extra vouchers. Once you’ve decided, you can just get a refund for the ones you bought in excess.
The Hotel
The Occidental Praha Wilson is a 5-star hotel, located at the place Venceslas in Prague – the most high-end spot in the Czech capital. You’re also only 200 m away from a subway station. The rooms have a very nice view of the National Museum of Prague and the rest of the city. The executive rooms also offer great comfort. Furthermore, most guests have praised the hotel’s friendly staff.
The hotel is located in the New Town neighborhood, which is a busy part of town, with many commercial places, as well as hotels, cafes, and high-end stores. There are also many cultural sights close to the hotel, and you’re not very far from the river and all of the bars on the riverbank. You will definitely not have any problems finding a place to dine, places to keep you busy during the day, and can reach any part of the city quite quickly due to all the public transport options close to the hotel – if even necessary. The Prague Astronomical Clock, for instance, is only 10 minutes away by foot.
Price Comparison
If you’re staying at the hotel in September or October, you’d usually pay roughly €170 for each night in an executive room, with breakfast and a flexible rate. So, even without considering the three tapas, you’d already be saving roughly 50%.
If you plan on staying at a more expensive time of year, e.g. February, the price can even rise to €200, increasing your saving even further to 55%.
