Travelzoo is selling vouchers for the Riad Jemaa el Fna hotel in Marrakech, Morocco. With these vouchers, you can stay at the hotel anytime before December 15, 2022 for a fixed price of €61. You would be staying in a double room, with breakfast.
This deal is only available on the French Travelzoo website. If you don’t speak French, we recommend that you use a browser that can translate the site for you. Once you’ve bought the voucher, you’ll be able to view it on the English Travelzoo site as well. Redeeming the voucher at the hotel is also possible in English.
You can purchase these vouchers until September 1, 2021. You can then redeem these coupons by sending an email to the hotel before December 15, 2022.
If you don’t end up traveling to Marrakech, you can simply return the vouchers and get a full refund. If you already redeemed them, then you need to cancel up to 7 days before arrival. To stay more than one night, simply purchase various vouchers. If you stay for 5+ nights, you’ll even get one free dinner and a 30-minute massage for two.
If you’re unsure about how many nights you’re going to stay, simply buy a few extra vouchers. Once you’ve decided, you can just get a refund for the ones you bought in excess.
The Hotel
The Riad Jemaa el Fna is an elegant hotel that has vibrant rooms and offers many amenities, such as a restaurant, shisha lounges, a spa, and even an indoor pool. The rooms have air conditioning and free Wi-Fi, as well as a terrace. The bathroom is equipped with a shower.
The hotel has gotten good reviews, with guests highlighting the friendly staff. Some, however, mentioned that the rooms were a bit small and loud, while also noting that the beds, bathroom, and cleanliness could be improved.
One of the best features of this hotel is its unbeatable location, located in Medina, a neighborhood full of hammam bathhouses and spice and textile souks on cobblestoned lanes, where the original fortified citadel used to be. At night, you’ll see snake charmers, folk dancers, and street food vendors on the streets. There are also beautiful palaces and gardens close to the hotel. Undoubtedly, you’ll have no trouble finding things to do during the day and places to eat.
Marrakech’s probably most famous sight, the Jemaa el-Fna is merely 4 minutes from the hotel, by foot.
Price Comparison
On most dates, you’d usually pay a similar price. These vouchers could, however, save you quite some money from December through February. During the Christmas holidays, for instance, the cheapest price that we were able to find was €79 on booking.com – and that’s because they are currently running a sale. So, with these vouchers, you’d be saving at least 20-25% during that time compared to the cheapest otherwise available flexible rate with breakfast.
