Sixt: Up to 15,000 Miles&More Miles per Rental in November

Sixt Schluessel

Miles&More is celebrating its 30th anniversary, and as part of the festivities, Sixt and Miles&More are offering up to 30 times the usual miles on car rentals. Instead of the normal 500 miles per rental, you can now earn up to 15,000 miles. However, to reach that maximum, you would need to rent a relatively expensive car.

It’s important to note that you should book through the following landing page:

These are the terms and conditions:

  • Vehicle categories Mini, Economy, and Compact (e.g. Opel Adam, VW Golf, BMW 1 Series, Mercedes-Benz A-Class):
    • 1,500 award miles for a minimum rental duration of 2 days
  • Vehicle categories Intermediate and Standard (e.g. VW Tiguan, BMW X2):
    • 3,000 award miles for a minimum rental duration of 3 days
  • Vehicle categories Fullsize and Premium (e.g. BMW 3 Series, Audi A6 Avant):
    • 7,500 award miles for a minimum rental duration of 4 days
  • Vehicle categories Luxury and Special (e.g. Mercedes-Benz CLS, BMW 8 Series Convertible):
    • 15,000 award miles for a minimum rental duration of 5 days

Unfortunately, Sixt’s search function doesn’t display the corresponding categories, only individual example models. If you’re not sure which model belongs to which category, here’s a brief guide on how to match a vehicle category to an example car:

Identifying Vehicle Class at Sixt

Under this link, Sixt lists all car types by rental country. First, you may need to filter by the country of your rental location at the top left. Then, you’ll see individual types listed with their ACRISS code:

The first letter of the ACRISS code corresponds to the vehicle category as follows:

  • M = Mini
  • E = Economy
  • C = Compact
  • I = Intermediate
  • S = Standard
  • F = Fullsize
  • P = Premium
  • L = Luxury
  • X = Special

Conditions

As with any offer, there are certain limitations. Please note the following conditions:

  • Booking period: Until October 31, 2023
  • Rental period: October 1 to November 30, 2023 (the last day for vehicle return)
  • Minimum rental duration: varies by category
  • Maximum rental duration: 27 days
  • Valid for rentals worldwide
  • Some rates, such as corporate rates, truck rates, etc., are excluded
  • To receive award miles, you must provide your Miles&More service card number when making the online reservation and potentially present your Miles&More service card at the Sixt counter.

You can find the full terms and conditions here on Sixt’s website and here at Miles&More.

Example: 7,500 Miles with a Rental for €229

Here’s a quick example. On November 15th to November 19th, 2023 (4 days) in Mallorca, Sixt offers an Audi Q3 for a total price of €229 (around €57 per day):

According to the car overview, this vehicle falls into the category FFAR, i.e. Fullsize. Renting for at least 4 days will earn you a substantial 7,500 Miles&More miles.

In this example, the car booked through Miles&More is priced the same as booking through the regular Sixt website. However, it’s a good idea to compare prices before booking. A 5-day luxury car rental (e.g., BMW IX40) for 15,000 Miles can be found in Mallorca for around €500.

There’s also a Sixt status match that you can combine with this offer:
