Banjul: TAP Flights Starting at €244 From all Over Europe (With Luggage)

Star Alliance member TAP is currently selling cheap tickets for their new route to Banjul, Gambia. Prices start at only €244 and are available from various European countries, such as Spain, France, or the UK. You can even fly nonstop from Lisbon. Luggage is included. In fact, you could save €10 by flying without luggage, but that seems rather crazy.

There’s availability from November through March. TAP flies to Banjul on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, while always flying back on the following day.

TAP uses an Airbus A320 for its 4-hour flight from Lisbon to Banjul. The flights to Lisbon from the other European cities are also operated with similar short-haul aircraft. TAP flies to Banjul three times a week.

Search & Book

TAP’s fare rules show absolutely no restrictions. You can use Google Flights to search for available dates, and then book the cheapest fare on TAP’s website. Make sure to select the Basic fare, so that luggage is included.

TAP also allows you to have a 1-2 day stopover in Lisbon for free so that you can discover the Portuguese capital. If you book directly through TAP, you’ll be offered that option during the booking process.

All tickets are issued in booking class O. That will give you the following amount of miles (in this example, from Madrid):

As you can see, the number of miles that you’ll get for this booking is quite small and won’t get you anywhere.
