New York: 1 week at the 4 * Hilton Fashion District for €606 (€86 / night)

New York

In January and February 2022, you can secure a room at the 4-star Hilton Fashion District hotel in New York starting at only €86 per night (non-refundable). The prerequisite is that you stay at least 7 nights, only then will the price be significantly reduced. Since there is also a non-refundable rate directly at Hilton, the Hilton price match guarantee applies here, at least in theory. This should allow you to push the price down to €68 per night. Incidentally, the refundable rate costs €95 per night. The best price guarantee is unlikely to apply here.

As mentioned at the beginning, the Hilton Price Match Guarantee applies here, at least to the non-refundable rate. So, you can book directly at Hilton and then submit a claim here. However, you do run a small risk because the cheaper rate still has to be available when Hilton checks the claim.

The Hilton Fashion District is located right in Manhattan in the Chelsea district. Pennsylvania Station is about 500 meters away. Chelsea Park and Madison Square Park are also in the immediate vicinity. There you can marvel at the Flatiron Building. Time Square is 1.8 kilometers away.

Price Comparison

The rooms actually cost well over €100 per night. The low price only comes about if you stay at least 7 nights. Here are the prices per night as shown on Google Hotels:

The amount of precipitation and rainy days is relatively constant over the course of the year. But there are enormous differences in temperatures. In winter, it can sometimes get icy cold, although the city is on the same latitude as Istanbul, for example. This results from the Gulf Stream, which just has no influence there.
