Last Chance for Many Black Week Flight Deals

Black Week 2022 Flights

Welcome to the second twin of our Black Week compilation list extravaganza. Just like we did with hotel chains, we also present you the best flight deals we have come across between the Monday before and after American Thanksgiving. Let’s take a look at what the airlines of the world have to offer.

Update

The current version of this article is from November 27. Most of the deals mentioned below will expire today. We won’t provide further updates in the future.

Saudia: 30% Discount on Many Flights

Saudia Logo

Saudia has captured our attention repeatedly over the past years with amazingly cheap business and economy class tickets. During their black week sale, prices don’t get much lower than we were used to, but they are more broadly available. Our deal shows many examples of business class bargains during this sale.

Bottom line: Not everybody is a fan of Saudia, but you can’t call €1,300 business class rides to India or South Africa anything but a decent offer.

Etihad Airways: 20% Discount Code for Economy and Business Class

Etihad Airways Logo

The Gulf carrier has given out a discount code that takes 20% off the airfare for most flights between Europe, Asia and Australia the airline offers. It is valid for the first six months of 2024. While it doesn’t discount taxes & surcharges, it can be applied to business class fares – saving some decent money on premium tickets.

Bottom line: Nothing that makes Etihad tickets a must-buy, but a welcome discount if you had your eyes on Etihad tickets anyway.

Aer Lingus: Up to €200 Off Business Class Tickets

Aer Lingus Logo

Rather than giving out a coupon code, Aer Lingus straight up takes as much as €200 off business class itineraries, resulting in prices like a €1,069 roundtrip from Rome to New York. Prices for economy tickets are discounted as well, resulting in some decent offers. This discount is valid until Monday for flights until the end of March.

Bottom line: A very transparent discount with several bargains to be made. The business class offers to New York are the best example.

SAS: Transatlantic Sale in Business, Premium Economy

SAS Logo

Scandinavian Airlines has a huge sale going for premium economy flights between Europe and America, with flights to the East Coast being available for €600 and California at €700 from multiple airports. The opposite direction is even cheaper. Their business class offers from London are also worth checking out.

Bottom line: While this is not an unusual sale by SAS (it rather coincides with Black Week), there are still some decent bargains to be made.

ITA Airways: Up to 30% Discount on Almost All International Tickets

ITA Airways Logo

ITA Airways regularly gives out discount codes, raging from decent to laughably bad. This one is valid for all long-haul destinations, covers eight European departure countries and flights in all cabin classes until April 2024. While it will only discount the airfare, you can still save a lot by applying it to your booking.

Bottom line: As far as ITA Airways discount codes go, this is the best we have seen yet.

Cathay Pacific: €100/£100 Discount Code

Cathay Pacific Logo

The Asian carrier is considered by many to be among of the world’s finest airlines. With departure from seven European countries, you can get a €100 discount on the airfare for business class and €75 for economy or premium economy tickets. The code covers flights until the end of April to more than 30 destinations in Southeast Asia and Australia.

Bottom line: A solid and transparent discount given out by a prestigious airline. Nothing to complain here.

Luxair: Roundtrips from/to Luxembourg for €109 (w/ Luggage)

Luxair Logo

From its hub Luxembourg, the country’s national airline offers roundtrips to several European destinations for €109 with or €89 without checked bags. You can get the prices going to Luxembourg, as well.

Bottom line: The prices are nothing out of the ordinary, but the selection of possible destinations is broader than usual.

*EXPIRED* Pegasus Airlines: Flights to Asia for €70

Pegasus Airlines sells tickets from Europe to the Middle East and West Asia with a massive discount, selling flights to rarely discounted destinations in Kazakhstan and Krzygistan for double-digit prices. Flights to Middle Eastern destinations like Doha or Dubai are cheaper than usual, too. We have a collection of low-priced examples here. Sadly, the sale ends today.

Bottom line: While the selection of destinations is unusual and spending six-hour-flights on an LCC isn’t too thrilling, this might be the best value-for-money deal of this year’s black week.

*EXPIRED* Aegean Airlines: Huge Discounts on All Flights, Fare Types

Aegean Logo

Aegean promises up to 70% discount on flights in economy class from January through March 2024 and 20% off business class fares until October. Fares including checked bags and free Wi-Fi are discounted, too. We have listed some examples with excellent prices here – but there is much more to discover. Sadly, the promotion begins and ends on Friday, November 24.

Bottom line: The rather long travel period and handsome discount on more expensive economy fares make this a great offer, very much worth your time to find bargains yourself.

*EXPIRED* British Airways: £1 Checked Bags from Gatwick

British Airways Logo.svg

Oneworld stalwart British Airways comes across with a modest offer, allowing you to add a checked bag on selected flights from Gatwick for £1 instead of £10 per direction. It only applies to departures in December, January and the first week of February. You can find additional information here.

Bottom line: Thanks for playing, maybe next time.
